On Wednesday 9th July 2025, colleagues from EIS, Cantium Business Solutions, and Electricity North West (ENWL) came together for a powerful purpose — walking in unity through Greater Manchester to raise funds and awareness for Mustard Tree, a charity working at the front lines of poverty and homelessness.
This collaborative event was part of a joint initiative to make a real difference in the communities we serve – not only by raising vital funds, but by strengthening connections between teams and taking positive action together.
Why Mustard Tree?
Mustard Tree supports over 10,000 people every month across Greater Manchester. From emergency food and clothing to furniture, training, and employment support, they provide life-changing services for people experiencing crisis, homelessness, or poverty. Their work opens doors to brighter futures — and we’re proud to stand behind them.
Together, we set a fundraising goal of £2,000 to help power Mustard Tree’s mission and ensure more individuals and families get the support they need to rebuild their lives.
More Than Fundraising
While the walk raised valuable funds, it was equally about showing up – as colleagues, as partners, and as members of a wider community. Events like this allow us to step outside of our day-to-day roles and connect with causes that matter.
At EIS, we actively encourage our people to get involved in volunteering and community work — and provide time and support to make that possible. It’s something we believe makes a meaningful difference both in the community and within our teams.
